After an engineer degree in photonics and a master degree in quantum optics, Elham Mehdi completed her PhD thesis on the study of giant polarisation rotation induced by a single electron spin in a quantum dot-based spin-photon interface in the group of Dr. Loïc Lanco at the Center of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N) in Palaiseau (France). She is now working as a postdoc in the group of Dr. Daniel Lanzillotti Kimura, at the C2N, on high resolution Brillouin spectroscopy for the study of the dynamic of phonons in acoustic resonators formed by semiconductor Bragg mirrors.
