Beatriz Castillo López de Larrinzar is currently a PhD candidate in the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology of the Spanish Council of Scientific Research (IMN-CSIC). During the academic year 2022-2023, she was pursuing her master’s degree in Condensed Matter (Nanophysics) while working in the group in which she would later begin her PhD. Along this year, she has authored the paper ‘Towards Chiral Acoustoplasmonics’, as well as has contributed and attended to two conferences, at national and international levels. Currently, she is awaiting the outcome of another manuscript submitted to a journal. She is particularly interested in the field of phononics and plasmonics, focusing on chiral structures and their response when interacting with electromagnetic waves.
